Former Chief Technology Officer at the Prime-Minister Office, Israel
Mr. Gerbat has more than 25 years of experience in Intelligence, Cyber and Homeland Security technologies and operations; He was in charge of leading wide range of technology R&D projects in those areas, as well as heading an Operations Research and Analysis division within the Israeli Prime-Minister Office.
His last position in the PMO was chief technology officer. On 2007 he has retired and since than he started an algo-trading company, as well as advising numerous companies on Cyber and Intelligence projects.
Mr. Gerbat is a graduate of the I.A.F's prestigious "Talpiot" program, and holds an M.Sc in Electrical Engineering, from Tel-Aviv University (Magna cum Laude), and a B.Sc in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Magna cum Laude),
Mr. Gerbat was awarded the "Israel Defense Award" three times (on 1993, 1999 and 2005).
