Dana Wolf, a lecturer at the Lauder School of Government, focuses on research and teaching of public international law, in particular international humanitarian law, law of occupation and international criminal law. Dr. Wolf also focuses on research and teaching of international conflict management and resolution as well as negotiation.

Dr. Wolf joined the IDC Lauder School of Government’s faculty in 2016 upon her return from the United States. Previously, Dr. Wolf served as a research fellow at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School where she initiated the Middle East Exercise, a multi-party simulation on regional negotiations in the Middle East. While conducting research for the Middle East Exercise, Dr. Wolf was awarded with the Next Generation Grant by the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. Dr. Wolf continues to lead the development of the Middle East Exercise in collaboration with leading experts in the field of negotiation, including scholars from the Harvard Kennedy School Negotiation Project, the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.  

Dr. Wolf’s doctoral dissertation is titled “Post-Occupation Obligations under the Law of Belligerent Occupation?” which she completed with a graduate research fellowship by the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. Dr. Wolf holds an LL.M from New York University (NYU) School of Law as well as an LL.B from IDC Radzyner School of Law and a B.A in Business Administration (Finance) from IDC Arison School of Business. Dr. Wolf has been admitted to the Israeli Bar Association in 2001, and worked as an associate at S. Horowitz & Co. at the Criminal Litigation Department. She also served as an Adviser to the Legal Counselor at the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations in New York.
