Brig. Gen. (Res.) Eli Ben Meir is a Fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.
Brig. Gen. (Res.) Ben Meir has vast experience in key positions at the cutting edge of technological-operational Intelligence and in managing complex multidisciplinary organization in a dynamic, constantly changing environment, under exceptional pressure and essential uncertainty.
He served as the head of the research and analysis division, responsible for the "National intelligence Assessment in The Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Prior to that, Brig. Gen. (Res.) Ben Meir served as the Chief of Staff and Chief Intelligence Officer of the IDF.
From 2011 to 2012, Brig. Gen. (Res.) Ben Meir was appointed as the Intelligence Military Attaché in the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC, USA.
He holds LLM and LLB degrees from Bar Ilan University and completed a BA in Logistics and Economics from Bar Ilan University as well.
