The Jihadist Radicalization Processes in Europe (2001-2019)

28/07/2019 | by Karmon, Ely (Dr.)

This article analyses the internal organization, socialization and group dynamics of violent and terrorist organizations and groups, with focus on Europe. The goal is to shed light on the vulnerability of Muslim young generations to the effort of recruitment and radicalization processes, which lead to participation of these young people in violent and terrorist activities across the continent and beyond.

This article is an adaptation of a much larger work, in the framework of the EU Horizon2020 TRIVALENT project, in which some 20 academic institutions, LEAs and SME’s participate.[1]
