Col. (Ret.) Oded Halevy is a senior consultant in the Homeland Security arena. He served in the Israeli security forces for 26 years in different roles including battalion commander of southern command combat collection battalion, head of the south arena in the operation division of the IDF general staff, head of the combat collection doctrine department in the ground forces and commander of the combat collection school brigade, still on active reserve service.
He is an expert in Intelligence & Counter Terrorism and Homeland Security and was part of the planning for the new border in Gaza strip, Israel-Egyptian border and the Golan Heights.
During his service, the IDF conducted a number of major operations like:”operation cast lead”, “Operation Pillar of Defense" and "Operation Protective Edge".
Col (Ret.) Halevy received M.A in law from Bar-Ilan University and B.A. in Business Management from Roppin academic College. In addition, he holds an executive certificate in counter-terrorism studies from the ICT.
He has practical experience from his service, as well as in the privet sector, in the subjects of field- Intelligence, Counter Terrorism and HLS including the use of technology in these fields.
