Lt. Col. (Res.) Doron Hadar is a Fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.
Lt. Col. (Res.) Hadar recently completed a distinguished military career having served in several command and leadership positions throughout his career. Currently, Lt. Col. (Res.) Hadar serves (in reserve) as the Commander of the Israel Defense Forces General Staff Crisis Management Unit. He previously served as the Commander of the General Staff Negotiation Unit.
Lt. Col. (Res.) Hadar studied towards a MA in Conflict Management, Resolution and Negotiation from Bar-Ilan University as well as holds a BA in Political Science, from Bar Ilan University as well. He took part in several professional and academic courses, including at the Israel Police, the Metropolitan Police and Columbia University.
